Different types of PC deformity require different application of forces. Each LA Brace is designed specific to the type of PC to ensure the best possible application of force and therefore the best possible results.

In juvenile and adolescent children who follow our Treatment Program accurately, in almost all cases we see close to 100% correction of PC deformity. Although PC Bracing is most effective on a growing child it can still be a successful treatment on adults. However, the effectiveness decreases as you age. At around 18 years of age, you can often achieve 60-70% correction. At 30 years of age 30-40% correction. By age 40, maximum possible correction is about 25%. Please note it does require a period  of 24/7 brace wear time to achieve permanent corrections.
