Occasionally there is a need for a second brace due to growth, damage or change in PC configuration. However, sometimes only a new backplate plate is needed and not a full replacement brace. We offer the replacement back plate at a discounted rate to our current customers.
Description
There are 2 main reasons to order a new back plate:
- Wear and tear, straps have worn down and will easily become loose from the buckles
- Backplate has fully molded to the body but further correction is still needed*
*The back plate is designed to slowly mold to the back as the deformity reduces making the brace less noticeable and therefore easier to wear. We see a need for this in about 1 in 20 children and about 1 in 5 adults.
